With over 20 years of early childhood experience, Rebecca has worked in a variety of early learning environments and tertiary education settings. She has a Master of Education (Inclusive Education) and prides herself as a long-standing advocate for children’s rights.
Through her work, Rebecca explores curriculum and practice such as nature pedagogy and the loose parts theory to inspire her work with educators supporting children’s seemingly challenging behaviour.
ABOUT THE SESSION
There is no magic answer to behaviour but there are ways to respond effectively to ensure that children, families and educators are feeling heard and supported.
In this very popular workshop Rebecca explores:
- Our image of the child
- Identifying behaviour
- Reasons for behaviour
- Ways to reduce behaviours
- Building a healthy climate
- Sharing with families
Participants are sure to leave this session with a toolkit of strategies and a full perspective change on how to tackle challenging behaviour!
